MOVE-A-THON: Students, Families & Friends—We Need YOU!
It’s that time of year – the Grout Elementary’s MOVE-A-THON fundraiser is here! Ask your family, friends, neighbors, and community to make a donation! Every gift helps fund art, performances, workshops, guest speakers, and other exceptional educational experiences for every Grout student.
Reach out. Get donations . . . Then get ready to run, walk, dance, move —and help us reach our goal — $17,000!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Before the MOVE-A-THON day, students collect pledges from family, friends, neighbors and the community by having them go to our donation website. On MOVE-A-THON day, students get moving during the school day by running, walking, dancing, or moving in whatever way feels right for them around the track. Laps are tracked by grade level as a whole— the more our students move, the more money we can raise for our school!
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
We would like to raise $17,000. All of the money raised will go toward providing educational and fun school-day events such as guest speakers, performances, classes and/or artist workshops for every student this school year.
WHEN IS THE MOVE-A-THON
Friday, September 25th at Grout. - This event will be held during regular school hours.

Picnic Recap: On Thursday, Sept 10 the PTA hosted our Back to School Picnic and General Meeting. We met so many wonderful Grout families, connected with local community organizations, and handed out countless popsicles to Grout students. At our General Meeting we got a sneak peek at the calendar of 2026/27 school events and heard a presentation from Principal Self. Save the date for October Fundraisers: We have 2 Dine Outs scheduled for October (Dairy Hill on Oct. 7 and Rocio’s on Oct. 21). Also scheduled is our annual Bingo Night for grown ups at Gigantic Brewing on Oct. 27. Mark your calendars!
Move-A-Thon Update: WHEN IS THE MOVE-A-THON? Friday, September 25th at Grout. This event will be held during regular school hours. In the first week of fundraising you’ve already raised $2,720! We are 16% of the way to our $17,000 goal. We’ve received donations from friends and family across the country. A special shout out to the generous folks in Washington, California, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Illinois who donated to our school! Every gift helps fund art, performances, workshops, guest speakers, and other exceptional educational experiences for every Grout student. Please continue to reach out for donations . . . Maker's Market on November 14th: Save the date for our Second Annual Makers Market on November 14 from 10am-4pm! Are you a maker? Do you have an artistic student or a crafty friend? We will have tables available for adults and Grout students at our market. The deadline for vendor applications is October 1, 2026. Become a Grout PTA Member: Everyone is welcome to attend every Grout PTA meeting. In order to be a voting PTA member you need to purchase a Grout PTA membership and you can do so here: https://grout.givebacks.com/shop.
